Serving as a Volunteer
Volunteering matters! Our belief is that as people choose to serve here at Parkside, the impact of that service will change lives for those serving, for the people they serve, and even for those who see them giving their time to help someone else.
Whether you are greeting our guests with a smile, holding babies in the nursery, playing a guitar on stage, or facilitating discussion within a small group, every volunteer has a part in the life-transformation of a growing church. So, when you give your gifts of service in the name of Christ, you are being the hands and feet of Christ. God uses your talents, your passions, and your heart to show His love and care. Of course, He could take care of all needs Himself, but that is not the point, nor His plan. By letting you and me participate, we learn to have the heart of a servant, as Christ taught us.
Let us know if you are interested in volunteering. We encourage people to utilize their natural talents and interest to serve whenever possible. You are never locked into a role. If you feel it's not the right fit, explore other opportunities.

Places to Volunteer
Pre-School (Sundays)
Our active kids are engaged in play and activities. They learn about God through weekly Bible stories, memory verses, music, crafts and activities. Elementary (Sundays) Help engage a very curious generation about the nature of God through Bible stories, activities, presentations, and discussion. Middle & High School (Sundays) These kids want to know what life is about and how to make the world a better place. Help them learn how to partner with God as they learn to use their hearts, passions, skills. and reliance on God. Music (Sundays) We love to use music in all of our environments. This means that we like to have adults and youth that also love to share their musical ability. Technology Support (Sundays) Computers, cables, monitors, touch screens, broken signals, sound systems, etc. Love to have you too. Special Buddies (Sundays) Many of kids need and would thrive with some one-on-one attention and guidance. Might you have a heart for one? |
Sunday Worship Experience.
Band (Sundays and Midweek Rehearsals) Music is a powerful, healing, and teaching expression. Music can be used to calm, set, and aim our hearts toward the majesty of God, no matter the depth of one's spiritual appetite. Production (Sunday and Midweek Rehearsals) There are so many behind the scenes actions that make the in front of the scenes content thrive. Computers, lighting, sound, set design, etc. that can help captivate attention. Guest Services Greeters: We are on the front lines or welcoming our guests to Sunday services. We smile, say good morning, and are ready to show our guests around. Check-In (Sundays) You welcome kids, parents, and caregivers to Parkside and to help ensure a speedy and pleasant check-in experience. Coffee Team: Good coffee and a good morning go hand in hand. Group Facilitator (Anytime) We provide you with the video drive teaching content and the discussion questions, you provide the facilitation and a heart to help others grow closer to Jesus. Group Host (Anytime) Every group needs a place to meet. Do you have a home, RV, man-cave, or special connections that you might be willing to use to serve others. Having a great place can lead to having a great small group. |
